This product is handmade by experienced artisans in a remote village in Argentina. It consists of a naturally grown gourd (a type of pumpkin) that is wrapped in special leather. The decorated ring is made of German silver; an alloy of nickel, copper and zinc.

Because this gourd is made entirely of natural products, each product is unique! The size, accents in the leather and embellishments on the rim are different on each gourd. Therefore, the pictures are for illustration purposes only.

Also, with a natural product it is extra important that you take good care of it. We recommend that you let the gourd ripen before using it for the first time (instructions are included). In addition, natural gourds are somewhat susceptible to developing mold, so after each time the gourd is used, it should be cleaned, and allowed to dry properly.
